Field trip to Bannerghatta National Park

We went to a field trip to Bannerghatta National Park which is just 22 km south of Bangalore. It is home of several species of animals and has some spectacular vegetation - housing shrubs, herbs, trees. The best part is the grand safari where we were taken through various territories of different animals which facilitated study of flora and fauna of the region. The students were very excited to see deer, bear, elephant herd, royal bengal tiger, lion posing to the camera. They took notes as they had to submit report after the field trip. Later wildlife conservation became a conversation as we got an opportunity to interact with the Range Forest Officer. The students were popping out questions and he answered all of them patiently and encouraged students to create awareness on wildlife conservation.
